#AmericanDirt 🗑🚮 received a seven-figure advance to promote and continue to feed negative narratives of the immigrant experience and existence. The novel received blessings from 👉🏽Oprah, Sandra Cisneros, Gina Rodriguez and more. 👉🏽Got air time on national television, reviews in mega media outlets and started a Twitter war. We’ll pass on this “book” and instead support Latinx writers who share from an authentic place, who write with passion and fight to be seen with little to no financial support.
