🕊Remembering one of the most important Latina artists of her time, Yolanda López. November 1942 – September 2021. A snippet on why she painted during an interview w/ the Salt Lake Tribune in 1995: “There were no public images of Mexican Americans or Latinos in mainstream culture that represented us in the broad scope of our humanity.
