Martha Gularte Tribute

Uruguayan🇺🇾dancer and poet, Fermina Gularte Bautista, known by her stage name, Martha Gularte. In 1949, Gularte made her debut at the Montevideo Carnival in Uruguay with the group Añoranzas Negras and performed at carnivals throughout the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. Marta was not only a celebrated dancer but also a published author and poet. #latinaspoderosas
