Amigas did you know that in the 1950’s Mexican American 🇲🇽 🇺🇸 children living in Texas were forced to abandon their native language and culture? Latinx names changed from Jose to John and Spanish was forbidden in schools. In history this is known as the Anti-Mexican sentiment or Brown v. Board of Education.
