In Inca mythology, Pachamama presides over planting and harvesting, embodies the mountains, and causes earthquakes. Bolivia’s 🇧🇴 Climbing Cholitas travel on foot to pay their respects and deliver offerings. One of the most common offerings is a dried llama fetus which is buried under the foundations of a building or in the crop fields during August to attract wealth, wellbeing and to keep bad energy away.
