Original zootsuits from the era are hard to come by and took curators at LACMA over a decade to find one, costing nearly $80,000, an auction record for an item of 20th-century menswear. ? Today you can find custom, handmade zootsuits at the oldest and only standing specialty shop, El Pachuco Zoot Suits. A store dreamed up by Poderosa ✨ Phyllis Estrella in 1978 and today is still owned and operated by all of her familia.
