Vecinas thrive together! ✨ Gabby, co-owner and second generation baker shared with #vecinaspicnic a bit of what her role is at her family’s neighborhood bakery @panaderia__cuscatleca and her goals to share ?? Salvi pan dulce to as many communities as possible. Panaderias, especially Salvadoran panaderias, have some of the most underrated baked goods. Gabby’s drive and love of her culture through her family’s pan dulce inspired us, so now our first Vecina Picnic event will be catered by her family’s bakery! ? As Latina founders we know the struggle, we’re often trying to do the most and it leaves us with little to no time for ourselves and ease. We wanted to carve out a space that was all about rest and conversation about life things. Connecting is often hard to do, much less taking it easy, you’re not alone! ? We have been to a lot of Latina focused events and they are often focused on work, productivity and demanding aspects of life. This is an event to unwind and connect among vecinas. If we connect through self care, we will have the vitality to support each other when it’s time to crush it at work! We’ll be hanging out, having intentional conversation, and enjoying bites.
