Meet #LatinaPoderosa, ✨ Jasmine Maldonado @jasmineejuliee, CEO of Persona The Shop @persona.theshop, a carefully curated clothing and accessory boutique in Los Angeles. As a first-generation ?? American, Jasmine was inspired by her mother—a long-time restaurant owner in West Adams—to start her own business in 2020, in the height of the pandemic. Since then, Jasmine has gathered a diverse community of vendors to join her for her monthly Mid-City Mercado, which she co-founded with her Brother. Mid-City Mercado was born out of a desire to highlight and support small POC vendors and reclaim the neighborhood she grew up in.
