🇩🇴 Maria Africa Gracia Vidal was born on June 6, 1912 and was Dominican Republic’s FIRST Hollywood Star ⭐️! Maria was known as The Queen of Technicolor and The Caribbean Cyclone. In 1940 she moved to NYC where she started her career as a model, then as an onscreen actress in 1941 working with Universal. She starred in several films including; “Arabian Nights,” “Cobra Woman,” “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,” and many more 🎞!
