America Ferrera was honored tonight with the prestigious SeeHer Award at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards for her work on @barbie ✨💫 “To affirm one another’s full humanity. To uphold the truth that we are all worthy of being seen, ” she shared. “Black, brown, indigenous, Asian, trans, disabled, any body-type, and any gender — we are all worthy of having our lives richly and authentically reflected.” ✨👏🏽✨👏🏽 The SeeHer Award was established in 2017 as a collaboration between the Critics Choice Association and an international marketing and media organization collective. The award honors the silver screen’s leading ladies who advocate for gender equality and portray authentic, boundary-pushing characters.
