There is so much beauty in this photo that reminds me of her and of “abuelitas” in general from the shoes, dress, to the apron with embroidery that both my abuelas seemed to have in every color. ⁠ ⁠ My abuelitas were always tending to something or someone but seldom caring for themselves. Their hands were a reflection of their hard work, they had “working hands”. This photo fills me with emotion, orgullo and memories. 💕
