This 4th of July is on a HARD ⏸ PAUSE. The country many of us live in today continues to witness pain and injustice. Black individuals murdered by law enforcement, Asian Americans wrongfully blamed for COVID, abuse in detention camps, children in cages, attacks on street vendors for viral videos……it’s TOO MUCH. And it seems nothing is done until WE (not those in power) demand justice. At a loss by the news of Vanessa Guillen, we’re pausing 4th of July to reflect on her and all others we’ve recently lost, as well as those who continue to suffer, and those whose story we have yet to hear.
