Everyone, hands up and scream, scream your head off because APRIL 16 could become an official state holiday in Texas honoring the 👸🏻 Selena! We feel very excited that Latina Texas Rep. @ramos4texashd102 filed the legislation to designate April 16 — (Selena’s birthday) — as “Selena Quintanilla Pérez Day, in memory of the contributions to Tejano music of Selena Quintanilla Pérez, an award-winning singer and recording artist.” 👏🏽🙌🏽🤠 Illustration by: @keepinitfresco_art
