Wonder Woman’s Latina Roots

Did you know the original Wonder Woman is Latina?!💃🏽 Her name, Lynda Carter also known as Diana Prince on the show! Born in Phoenix, Arizona this super woman came from a multicultural family. Her mama, Juanita Cordova, was Mexicana and her father, Colby Carter was of English and Scots-Irish decent. Her favorite childhood memory was growing up with her mothers family, eating homemade Mexican food like tamales, dancing, “the Latino feel, that was so full of love, warmth and sense of family” as she describes it.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Wonder Woman aired for three seasons from 1975 to 1979! So yes we have a powerful hero!
